Wkly progression-Uploaded sideways!

Don't faint!

Here is my "Peppermint Twist" progress to date. I started stitching on January 10. At the Stitch-a-thon on the 17th, everyone was admiring the piece that we have selected. I wish that Bonnie had been there with a stack of leaflets. She would have sold-out.

Here is my progress so far. I'm enjoying stitching this, especially with the rest of you!

A New Beginning! on hold...

I was so happy when I signed on to hear "Peppermint Twist"...got me up jumpin around...DH ROFL!!! (that's what happens when all the kids and Xmas guests are gone! LOL) I have not stitched on this in two days, but here is the beginning...

I Started!!!

Sharon-Kudos to your LK SAL blog! Such creativity flowing through and it shows! Blog looks fabulous! I started my SAL last night. I managed to find some 36 ct Khaki Edinberg to stitch this design on. Feeling challenged, I was going to do this over one count until I realized just how ridiculous that would be! So, over two we go! I have the outlining of the poinsetta section done. No time to stitch tonight!

Hope everyone is gathering up their supplies. I have mine ready and will try and start this evening. No school or work today, we had a bit of an snow & ice storm over night. Though I would love to spend the day stitching I can't, the stomach bug is making its rounds and has hit my little Tori again last night. This morning though she is feeling a bit better so maybe that was the last of it. I sure hope so. DH is still feeling crummy though. I hope to take all the Christmas decorations down today and make some soup too. Will be nice to get the house back in order again.
