UFO's

I have been making a list and have over 30. Yikes, why do I not finish these?
You asked for pictures so I have decided to add a few of the ones I have started and need to finish.

This is Rachael Holmes. It is the only one I could find on the computer right now. Guess I need to scan in a few more of them.

My Personal 2011 "Challenge"

Here's my list of stitching "challenges" for 2011:

Nine of the Little House Needlework ornaments from 2010
Little House Needlework's Pumpkin Hollow
La D Da's Live, Laugh, Love
Ink Circles' Sea Stars
Lizzie Kate's Christmas double flips (started at our retreat in 2008-the first 6 are done; I suppose these could count as 6 more but we'll leave it as one.)
Blackbird Designs' Flea Market Souvenir
Blackbird Designs' Bittersweet Moon

The above are in some state of stitching "readiness". I am anxious to start in on these on New Year's Day.

I have several SALs in progress and hope to get those moving along in 2011, too. These includes the Anniversaries of the Heart series done on one LARGE piece of fabric and Christmas at Hawk Run Hollow, where I have completed block 1 and made decent progress on blocks 2 and 3.

Feliz Ano Nuevo!
Janice

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011

Hey Lizzies,
Let's get this party started. We are going to ring in the New Year with lots of great stitching plans. I for one want to finish many of my UFO's. How about you??
Let's make some lists and add them on here, it will be lots of fun to read and see what everyone is doing. Post some pictures. I am going to be working on my list this evening. So dive in your stash, see what you have and tell us all about it.

A Finish, A Finish, I'm in Shock!

This morning I put the last stitches into my Laura Parker sampler.

I wanted to stitch this ever since I saw it in Carol Sims' webshots album. It was a fast stitch and I love that Laura's last name is Parker.

My first finish of the New Year

TA DA! I have my first finish of the year! I finished Small Token by Blackbird Designs while watching the Olympics last night. It took about a week or less to finish and I would have had it done a lot faster if I wouldn't have had to frog the same spot twice. Don't know why I had such a problem with that one area, but I finally saved it for last and got it to all match up.

Rachael Holmes 1842

Apologies for the poor picture, this is my current obsession, uh WIP, Heartstring Samplery's Rachael Holmes 1842. Kathy is a little farther along than I am but I'm working hard to catch up.
It's a sweet stitch and just full of funky wonderfulness. I don't want to put it down and get really annoyed when I have to do something like clean or cook that interrupts my stitching.

What is everyone else working on?? Come on ladies post some pictures we want to see!
Here is my first finish for 2010. It is Clara's Skating Sampler by Tanya Anderson, the Sampler girl. I put my name instead and the date I met my husband. We use to iceskate all the time together.
